Child and Adolescent Nutritional Counseling
We offer nutrition and exercise counseling for good health and fitness for children and adolescents.
This consultation services provides information on the importance of a balanced diet, proper carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, vitamin and mineral needs, fiber, as well as nutrients needed through diet and/or supplements. A well-balanced exercise program is also included. Information provided is age specific and focuses on making food and healthy eating "fun" and easy!!
Your Child's Weight
We understand childhood obesity and will help your child overcome the struggles they are currently facing. We offer education and encouragement. We emphasize providing, not depriving. Trying to get children to eat less or move more in the name of weight contol backfires. It makes them preocupied with food, inclined to move less when they get the chance, and prone to gain too much weight. We have found improved receptivity to new ideas when meeting in the comfort and privacy of their home.
